Mushroom Complex - 120 Capsules

I have been using Lions Mane powder for a couple of months now and making one drink a day in the morning and am since this a great believer in the benefit of mushroom supplements. As such I was very pleased to receive these organic mushroom complex capsules from the Swiss Bioenergetics Store.The 120 capsules come in a tall slim plastic container which has a pop off lead with a sealed top when first receive (please see photos).The capsules are typical capsule size (please see photo next to a 1p coin) and are easy to swallow.The recommended daily intake is 2 capsules a day, which would mean this item is 60 day’s supply. Personally though, and because I am already taking Lions Mane powder in drink format I am just taking 1 of these capsules a day. This way will still benefit a lot more than was without taking them and the 120 capsules will last 120 days and not 60, which will make a big difference due to the not inexpensive cost.Each capsule contains 75mg each of the following mushrooms; Maitake, Reishi, Shitake, Lions Mane, Chaga, Cordyceps and then 75mg Acerola fruit, 20mg Tumeric root, 5mg Black pepper. So these capsules really are a complex providing a balanced amount of 6 different mushroom with added benefit of black pepper and turmeric and acerola fruit.The capsules are suitable for vegans and are Gluten, Yeast, GMO and Lactose free.The capsules are manufactured in UK and meets GMP (goods manufacturer practise) code of practise.I do recommend this product to those already supplementing with mushrooms and to those wanting to dip their toe in and see if it is for them. As is the same before taking any new medication or supplement though please read up first to make sure that this is suitable for you to take.

As a regular user of Lions Mane powder and capsules for around one year, the Vine programme offers up many interesting suggestions and mushroom formulations are not that common place, so the opportunity to review these by Swiss BioEnergetics was very interesting.In terms of unboxing, the packaging is just brilliant because its very narrow and tall, so you are taking up minimal space, something that multiple supplements eat up very quickly. A seal on the top of the container as well is found under the cap before you can access the capsules.120 Capsules at 2 per day offering a 60 day course which is really good one person, or in the case of a couple, they you have a month supply.Supplements that can help with the immune system and general well being can never be overlooked, and at this price point, you can see on Amazon online, the cost of the item plus the unit price along side it, so that can be helpful to make comparisons.Looking at the formulation, there is an even spread of 150mg of six organic mushrooms plus Acerola Fruit to provide 150mg of Vitamin C, Organic Turmeric Root @ 40mg and Organic Black Pepper at 10mg.The last ingredient is used to improve absorption and something i only recently became informed of after seeing it on so many supplements, so that is a plus from me in terms of how effective these are going to be.Taking them with food and water is the recommendation and that is also when i have been taking them.If i was to see some other improvements at the end of the course that came as a result of adding other Organic Mushrooms on top of Lions Mane which is what i have stopped using for the moment whilst i trial and review these, i would seriously consider moving away from a single Lions Mane supplement and go with a formulation like this.Overall very satisfied.

I am a huge fan of mushroom complexes as over time you can definitely feel the difference with your day to day living. I tend to have periods when I will take them for a few months and then have a bit of a break. It's too early to notice any significant benefits from this batch but I am confident with the list of ingredients that I will have a similar experience to previous periods of taking them. I will of course update this review if nothing happens.This complex has something a little different by containing Turmeric and Acerola. I had never really heard of the latter but the supposed health benefits would suggest that it's a good addition.Also something to consider with a complex is that you don't get the same amount of each one as you would if taking individually, but it's good to get a bit of everything!The capsules are suitable for pretty much everyone being vegan and contain no gluten. Another bonus is that there are no fillers or binders which is something to keep an eye on when looking at other brands. These are also made in the UK which is also something that gives confidence.I really like the packaging, it's plastic but it's narrow and space saving and looks pretty good too.For the price it's worth giving it a go for a couple of months to see how you get on.

There seem to be 2 or 3 different brands of these exact same capsules on Amazon at the moment. The ingredients are identical, down to the exact amounts of each organic ingredient, and even the type of packaging is identical. I would therefore advise doing a search for “organic mushroom acerola turmeric capsules” as you might be able to save a bit of money if one is a little cheaper than the other (which they are at the moment).Anyway, these are my new favourite health supplement. I’ve really got into medicinal mushrooms recently, after feeling an improvement in my health when taking them. These capsules not only contain a blend of all the different types of mushroom I would choose to take, but also turmeric and acerola, a type of cherry, high in antioxidants and vitamin C. Also being soil association certified organic is just the icing on the cake. I really couldn’t ask for more, and have my next supply from one of the other similar brands on order already.The individual dosage of each of the ingredients is not as high as a single variety capsule would be, but these capsules offer a really good broad spectrum coverage, which should have an overall beneficial effect for most people. You get a 60 day supply in the pack, as the dosage is 2 capsules per day, with water and preferably a meal. These are gluten-free, suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and contain no nasties at all. Perfect health supplement, and highly recommended. They have a lovely fruity fragrance in the pack, and are pleasant to take and easy to swallow.
